Pastor Reverend Reed was appointed to serve as New Hope Missionary Baptist Church's Senior Pastor January 7, 2018. Prior to that, he served as the Assistant Pastor, here at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Indianapolis, IN.

The attributes that best describe Pastor Reed as a pastor are strong preaching, teaching, and leadership development. He has a burning desire to lead our church, from the true and living word of God, Here at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church,  members are highly encourage to get involved in ministry and support the community around  us. 

Pastor Reed takes worship and preaching very seriously, spending much time focused on praying, seeking direction and counsel from God continually. 

He attended Wesleyan University with a focus on Christian Ministies.

Pastor Michael T. Reed  has been happily married for 27 years to  his wife, Tessa  Reed. Together they have three adult children: and four grandsons and a Puppy granddaughter. 

Reverend Ron Johnson has been a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church for twenty six years. Rev. Ron Johnson currently serves as the Youth Pastor at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, under the direction and leadership of Pastor Reverend Micheal T. Reed.

 During his time at Tech High School he met the love of his life (now wife) Jeanne Johnson. Rev. Johnson has been married for 37 years. He has two daughters, one son, one son-n-law, and four grandchildren.

 Rev. Johnson is retired but still very active and involved in the community.  He has always had a passion for giving back to the neighborhood and community.  Rev. Johnson is a mentor for the Crown Mentoring program (Lawrence Township District). He has also served as a baseball, basketball, and T-ball coach at various churches and organizations, as well as a referee. 

Rev. Johnson is a strong believer of Jesus Christ and knows that God is truely faithful.
